Within easy driving distance of your holiday home you have the choice of several different resorts, offering you skiing from 12.00 euros to 40.00 euros per day depending on which resort you choose.

As clients of Ferme Noemie we are able to offer you discounted daily passes to ski one of Europe’s best ski areas, Alpe d’Huez and the Grand Massif.

Alpe d’Huez is 25 minutes away by car. Alternatively there is an excellent bus service from Bourg d’Oisans to Alpe d’Huez that can deliver you straight to the pistes for a very low cost.

Skiing in Alpe d’Huez is very varied. For the more confirmed and adventurous skiers there is the Sarenne black run, the longest black run in Europe, and for those less adventurous, a vast area of gentle blue and green runs that enable you to progress with ease.

Les Deux Alpes is also 30 minutes by car, or 10 minutes to the closest lift at Venosc that will whisk you up in no time to the main resort.

Les Deux Alpes has the largest skiable glacier in Europe and is France's second oldest ski resort. The magical off piste area of La Grave is skiable from Les Deux Alpes. There is also a regular low cost and reliable bus service from Bourg d’Oisans to Les Deux Alpes.

For those seeking a low cost ski, the Col d’Ornon has several runs, including a black run. For as little as 12.00 euros per day you can enjoy skiing in this little unspoilt village, which offers as well as down hill skiing kilometres of tracked cross country skiing and snow shoe walks.The Col d’Ornon is 15 minutes from Ferme Noemie.

A FREE BUS SERVICE from the end of our lane will take you to Vaujany, one of the satellite resorts to Alpe d’Huez within the vast Grand Massif ski area. You may ski fromVaujany on one of our Alpe d’Huez passes or for slightly cheaper, you can purchase a pass for the Vaujany ski area only.

The cable car from Vaujany will take you up to the Dome, into the heart of one of the largest resorts in Europe.
