La Ferme Noemie is located 25 minutes from the well known ski resort of Alpe d'Huez; the infamous 21 bends featured as The Tour de France hill climb are a challenge for many a keen cyclist!
Alpe d'Huez has recreational activities available year round, some of which are seasonal and include, skiing (summer skiing available on the glacier), a 9 hole golf course, horse riding, mountain biking, trout fishing, and a sports centre with indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Vaujany, a picturesque alpine village is located 15 minutes away, you can get there using a free bus service from the end of the road. During the winter season Vaujany has a natural ice rink. Spring, summer and autumn, Vaujany has some beautiful walks.

Allemont is another pretty little village, located less than 10 minutes from La Ferme Noemie. The lake at Allemont offers fishing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and pedalos. An ideal location to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Venosc, infamous for its white water rafting is a mere 15 minutes away, it has a lift linking Venosc to Les Deux Alpes open during the summer and winter seasons. Venosc is a pretty village where you will find a selection of interesting shops.


Bourg d'Oisans

Ferme Noemie is a five minute drive from the little market town of Bourg d’Oisans, with its selection of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants.
The commune of Bourg d’Oisans has a good public swimming pool with slide and an excellent pool for toddlers, easy parking and limited mobility access.

There are many activities available such as parapenting, horse riding, guided walks and windsurfing.

Visit the museum in Bourg d’Oisans for local history and its wonderful display of crystals.

Visit the lake at Allemont where you can hire a canoe, pedalo or

windsurf and the villages of Venosc, Besse and Mizoen. There are stunning mountain views from the Plateau d’Emparis and the ski resorts of Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes.
